What
the Retinue Can Do For You!
The
Retinue have about fifteen period medieval tents to bring to outdoor
events with twenty + members who take on various guises, from Chaplain
to Laundress and Musician to archer.
We feature a working kitchen, Manor Administration, Religion,
Music, Dance, Games, Blacksmith (By Arrangement), Furniture, Pottery,
glass, Pewter, Clothes, Leather wares, Shoes & Boots, Mummers Play,
Meals & Manners, Period Tools, Heraldry, Swords, Pole-Arms,
Crossbows, Bows, Handegonnes, Bucklers, Daggers, Swords, Helmets,
Brigandines, Full Harness (Knights in Armour), all supported with talks
and displays, as well as a limited Have-A-Go with a real bow and
‘Bill-Drill’ for children. Where safe our policy is ‘Hands On’.
All
this is set within a tented encampment or within your buildings and will
be supported with a working background and researched medieval scenario,
agreed with you. Our events
feature on the hour and half hour
displays, talks or demonstrations and can easily fit
in with your opening times or other activities.

We
do take bookings years in advance so it is best to get in touch as early
as you can to avoid disappointment and get the best dates.
- For
a standard weekend or two day event the Retinue charges £600.00
- For
a Bank Holiday or three day event we charge £700.00
- For
events outside the County of Lincolnshire we will add on the cost of
extra fuel to get to and from the event site.
- For
all other bookings we will negotiate a fair fee with you – just
ask

fees…………
