Upon joining the Society we give new members as much information, advice and contacts as we possibly can. In house our members can and do make their own clothes, clothing pins, mail for armour, wooden spoons and much more besides, but when the expertise cannot be found or individuals cannot make their equipment, we then recommend traders and suppliers that we can trust and rely upon to provide good quality and competitive prices.

Fabric of Time – One of the most basic fabrics needed by medieval re-enactors is Linen.  Linen, made from Flax, is used to make shirts, braies, shifts and linings for almost all the clothes worn during our period, before and well beyond.
